Pastors Message
A message of hope, faith, and community.
Strengthened by Christ’s love and guided by Our Blessed Mother, we grow as a parish rooted in prayer, unity, and service, walking together in faith and living the Gospel each day.
As your parish priest, it is a blessing and a joy for me to accompany you on this spiritual journey. The Church of the Immaculate Conception is more than a sacred space; it is a welcoming home where every person is valued, nourished, and encouraged to deepen their relationship with God. I invite you to participate wholeheartedly in our liturgies, ministries, and community initiatives, so that together we may continue building a parish that reflects Christ’s compassion and the intercession of Our Lady.
I look forward to meeting you, praying with you, and welcoming you into our parish family.

Our History
Our parish history: from mission to monumental church.
Birth of the Kanhai Mission
Foundation of the mission.
The history of the Church of the Immaculate Conception began in 1930 when an English Capuchin Friar from St. Mary’s Church, Old Delhi, initiated the Kanhai Mission. He regularly travelled to Kanhai to offer pastoral care to the small but growing Catholic community. In time, a modest chapel was constructed, becoming a spiritual centre for early believers and setting the foundation for what would eventually grow into a vibrant parish.

Sacred Worship
Experience inspiring and reverent liturgical celebrations where we come together to glorify God. Our Masses and prayer services nurture the soul and strengthen our bond as a faith community.
Service & Outreach
We extend Christ’s love through acts of compassion, supporting the vulnerable, assisting families in need, and engaging in community service programs that bring hope and healing to others.
Faith Formation
Through catechism, scripture learning, youth ministry, and spiritual enrichment sessions, we guide individuals of all ages to deepen their understanding of the faith and grow as committed followers of Christ.
Our Core Value
Embracing faith in community life.
Faith is the cornerstone of our community, guiding our actions and decisions. It nurtures love, kindness, and humility, encouraging parishioners to live with devotion and serve others with a compassionate heart.
